On the evening of August 12, Rotarians and guests gathered at Rotary West Community Center to reflect and celebrate. Celebrations were held under the theme - A Glorious Legacy, 46 Years of Service to our Community.
 
President Sussan Callwood-Smith began the meeting with Welcome, followed by Past-President Maurice Illidge offering the prayer. Rotarians and guests sang under the directorship of PAG James Sealey. Past President Tyrone Seales presented an informative history of our club. He highlighted information such who was our first President, Charter members, Clubs Rotary Club of St. Croix West sponsored, annual projects and fundraisers.  A history trivia was also done by Vice President Jennell Bryan.
 
 
Guest Speaker, O'Neil Canton, Executive Director of The Boys and Girls Clubs VI spoke about importance of the Boys and Girls Clubs to the community of St. Croix. He also discussed grants which the clubs have received to continue their work here on St. Croix. He offered sincere thanks to the Rotary Club of St. Croix West for its dedication and contribution over the years. Rotary Club of St. Croix West is presently renovating the kitchen at the Boys and Girls Club in Frederiksted. Mr. Canton ended his tribute with a toast to the club! Hip Hip Hip Hooray!
The celebrations concluded with One Minute for the Good of Rotary, Recognition of Birthday and Anniversaries, Happy Dollars, World Service Raffle and the Four Way Test.
 
A fun bingo game was held after the meeting ended.
